Elder Frei is Back!!!

I am so happy to say we had the save arrival of my third favorite brother-in-law this week! He got home on Wednesday after serving a two year mission in the Santa Maria Brazil mission. It has been awesome to see him and his testimony grow over these past two years!

Mitch had to fly into the Salt Lake Airport so he could make it to Snow College on time to report to the basketball coach, and meet NCAA rules, so only Kent and Robbin were able to be there at the Salt Lake Airport to greet him cause we all had to work. But we were all waiting back at the house. We lined the whole neighborhood with posters and balloons since he couldn't fly into the St. George airport!

So later that night he was unpacking and put on his Brazilian gear! He said this is how the people dressed in his mission, and what he wore every P-day. They would put coins in the little pouches on his belt looking thing! Pretty funny, and yes he is single for any girls out there that think he looks good in this outfit :) We're sure glad you're home Mitch!

Blake's New Trophy

So this is Blake's new pride and joy! He shot this elk with his bow last Saturday near Spanish Fork. I'm really new to the whole hunting thing but for those of you who understand this, it scored a 345. It really is huge, I was quite impressed! I feel bad for the fellow but Blake has been happier than a little kid at Christmas! If anyone wants some meat we will plenty to get us through the winter!

Church Tour

We had the opportunity to go with my family on a vacation to tour some of the church history sites. We started in Palmyra, New York, then went to Niagura Falls, Canada and ended in Kirtland and Cleveland Ohio. The weather was awesome! It is usually really humid and I was dreading that, but we were lucky enough to have no humidity. If anything it was a little bit cooler. I cannot believe how green it is back there. It is so beautiful! Utah is such a pretty place to live but we are definately in a desert. This trip really made me appreciate the church and pioneers who sacrificed so much! I'm so grateful I am apart of this church! Here are a BUNCH of pictures! I love pictures and I still had a hard time cutting out as many as I did! But I apologize in adavance if there are too many :)

First stop Peter Whitmer Farm

Hill Cumorah! We were able to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant too! It was awesome, but that is the stage and chairs set up for it. Then Blake and I walking up the path.

The home Joseph Smith lived in when he was 14 years old

Sacred Grove! Absolutely beautiful and peaceful!

When walking to the sacred grove the temple pops up through the trees. I thought it was really pretty!

This pic is self explanatory! Where the first copies were printed.

Palmyra Temple! They decorated the inside like the sacred grove! So pretty!

I loved Niagura so I posted quite a few pictures! There's no question why it is a natural wonder of the world. It was so loud there from all the water but just amazing! 16 people have gone down the falls in a barrell and only 10 survived. I don't know how any did! Niagura Falls is made up of 4 of the Great Lakes coming together. Here is the river before the falls. Very cool!

This shows the American and Canadian side. The Canadian side is definatley better!

We stayed the night in Canada at this hotel called the Great Wolf Lodge. It is huge. I would recommend it becaue it has a full water park inside along with a ton of other stuff to do like mini golf.

Kirtland, Ohio. I didn't realize how much too place here in the history of the church. There is so much to see. I really like Kirtland!

This was at the Issac Morley Farmhouse and Schoolhouse but the schoolhouse got burned down so it is just a monument. Ally loved climbing the trees, and doesn't Blake look cute with a GIRL!!

John Johnson Farmhouse. A lot of events took place here!

Couldn't pass up the chance to go to a Cleveland Indians ball game!

Hola Cancun

We finally made it to Cancun for our Graduation Trip! It sure was a lot of fun! The water was so beautiful and warm, and the weather was great pretty much the whole time. We went to an All-Inclusive Resort and enjoyed getting as many pina coladas and waterever else we wanted, when we wanted :) While we were in Mexico we went on a zip-line, visited a few mayan ruins, scuba dived, went to the spa, swam in one of hundreds of cenote sink holes, and just relaxed! It was a great get away with some of our best friends! Here are a bunch of pictures!

Elk Ranch

We had a great time in beautiful Sevier County! My father-in-law owns an Elk Ranch near Big Candy Rock Mountain. I love going up there! It is a lot of fun and the view is amazing! My family was able to go along with Blake's parents and Boots! The weather was really nice kind of overcast and it rained a little bit. Unfortunately though the rain kept the elk hidden in the trees so we were not able to find too many of them :( But we had a great time visiting some mines that are just off the property. It was pretty scary walking through them. All that goes through your head is all the movies you have seen about being trapped cause it collapsed. But there is nothing like the mountains. I love the red rock of southern utah but the smell of pine and green mountains are so pretty!
Isn't this view amazing! This is at the cabin. That is Sevier County

Cooking in the cabin

Ally playing in the dirt! Isn't she adorable!

Pic's of the mines! Blake thought he was pretty cool when he found dynamite and of course he had to pick it up!

Brad & Kresta on the 4-wheeler and Boots, Angela, and Aaron on the "mule."

Good Bye Cedar

Well we have offically moved! We are now living back in St. George! We kind of did this backwards because the summertime is actually when it is nice in Cedar because it is so blasted HOT in St. George! But Blake was anxious to get back to "Zion." Although I don't exactly agree with that comment...Zion?!? :) I really did like Cedar! It always reminded me of home, having snow and just a small hometown feeling! We will really miss our place and all of our friends! I'm not looking forward to the fact that I am now 45 minutes farther from my family either! We will be living back in Kent and Robbin's apartment until we are able to find/agree on a house!

Hate Swine Flu

Yes I hate the swine flu! Just so anyone that reads this knows, we did not go to Mexico :( If you run into me don't worry I won't get you sick! After much debate we decided not too go! Some say why it the world would you not go, and others say it was a good choice. For me I decided to take the safe route and not go. Luckily we did get our money back and so we have postponed our graduation trip until until the end of June. We are now deciding between Aruba and Grand Cayman Islands so if anyone has any input about those places please let me know!

Since we didn't go to Mexico we still wanted to do something to relax and get away to celebrate all of our hard work from school. So we got to go to the sweetest beach house in San Diego. The Ence's have a beach house in Encinitas and it is so awesome! We never like to pass up an oportunity to go there. We went with our same group that was going to Mexico...the Ence's, the Hurst's, and Us! Oh and Mal's whole family came too! We had a great time! Good weather although the water was too cold to get into for us girls! And of course we went to a baseball game! Can't not go to California and not go to a baseball game :) It was a lot of fun! Thanks Ence's! So here are a bunch of pictures from the beach house!
